Madoka Magica teddy bears at Wonderfest. so cuuuuute~~

so I got this pleasant surprise of a special gift when I picked up my reserved h.NAOTO MINT NEKO x You of Matenrou Opera t-shirt during that one event I went to
ahh I went to a fabric store in Shinjuku and I found waaaaay better grey vinyl for my Kasumi cosplay! It’s much thinner so I’ll be able to make a more shapely *ahem* “bodice” part

I’m studying at Sophia University through CIEE, and I love it! It’s been a really great experience, and the support of the study abroad program has been super awesome. They organize some events throughout the semester—like a trip to the Ghibli Museum, plastic-food sample making (though we made it out of wax), taiko workshop, wagashi making, etc…(at no extra cost for you to attend, you can even request transportation re-imbursement)
Sophia University is a Japanese university and has a department called “Faculty of Liberal Arts” which offers courses entirely in English. My classes are with native Japanese, Japanese who grew up abroad and came back (帰国子女), as well as other exchange students from all over the world. Sophia is located right in the center of Tokyo, not far from the capitol building, and within the second moat of the Imperial Palace. The campus is just a 20 minute walk away from Shinjuku.
If you want to study in Tokyo, I recommend this program! It’s also much more immersive than going to an American university like Temple. ^__^b
