From the above snippet that used to be on my main page, I will say a few things just to clarify the state of my blog:
- I like J-fashion and J-rock
- I like British television (ex. Doctor Who, Sherlock, Misfits)
- I like Whedonverse shows
- I like Mass Effect
- I like Homestuck
- I like lots of things
However:
- This is not a J-fashion/J-rock blog
- This is not a Doctor Who or Sherlock blog
- This is not a Buffy/Angel/Firefly/etc..blog
- This is not a Mass Effect blog
- This is not a Homestuck blog
- This is a whatever-I’m-into-at-the-moment+feel-like-reblogging-blog
(and also, I sometimes post outfit snapshots whenever I feel like it)
About being Christian: You might have noticed that I listed “Christian” first in my little list of things I identify with. I listed it first, because it’s the most important to me. I don’t normally post about my faith, though I may do so occasionally. Now before you start feeling nervous about me being so vocal about my faith, let me just say, that I totally understand.
People are often turned away from Christianity for two basic reasons: either they haven’t met a Christian or they have.
I assure you that I’m not the kind of person normally portrayed by the media. I’m not a Bible-thumping, holier-than-thou, fire-and-brimstone, blah-blah-blah, judgmental kind of Christian. I am a member of Saddleback Church, and I’m willing to answer any questions that people may have about my faith or at least try my very best to do so!
